at least you have some help in taking care of them though! i can definitely imagine it’d be tougher to do on your own if you can’t hold a file.

kinda like me with my wings, but not so much because i can’t hold something, moreso can’t reach. or well… i can reach but they’re just… harder to preen by myself because of the stretching back to get towards the middle. usually end up sore. i’ve had help recently though, which helps tons! both because less sore, and they actually have the stuff birds produce for preening to use on my wings, which has been… very nice for my wings. and getting that help preening has… had some perks for them too, hehe.

its pretty comfy but a little restrictive i mean it is sort of a costume so its not fully fully fully functional or for everyday wear and im sure kay is sad about that lmao

yeah theyre a nightmare they turn into full ass bird talons if i let them go for too long B( hasnt happened in a few years though back when i didnt have help id just scrape them on concrete to get them back down to a manageable length

aw kay helps me with my wings too you should come over sometime we can have a preening party
